# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • The cream cheese creates an incredibly creamy contrast to the grilled beef and tangy condiments
  • These come together in under 30 minutes but taste like something from a specialty food cart
  • You can customize every layer to match exactly what you are craving tonight
02 -
  • The cream cheese must be truly softened or it will tear apart your bun when you try to spread it
  • Do not rush the onions, they need time to caramelize properly and that sweetness is essential
  • Toasting the buns is not optional unless you want a soggy mess on your hands
03 -
  • Mix a little garlic powder or everything bagel seasoning into your cream cheese for extra flavor
  • If you are making these for a crowd, cook the onions ahead and keep them warm in a slow cooker
  • The cream cheese layer prevents the bun from getting soggy, so do not be shy with how much you use
